Milkwood handcrafted resin jewellery is lightweight, durable, and completely individual. The designs are fluid and organic in form, with a unique surface texture and clarity of colour that allows the resin to glow with light.
The creation of each Milkwood piece is very tactile and instinctual, with a complete handmade process. I start with the formation of a clay model, then to the selection and mixing of pigments to create each individual colour within the resin, and finish with the hand shaping, sanding and polishing that each piece requires.
As well as making jewellery, I am also rather good at making babies; so I'm taking some time off while my third is still cute and cuddly. Once he starts whining though, I'll be straight back to work - so hang tight!!
